TO
A WALK IN
ALGONQUIN PARK

Welcome to the new camping/canoeing
season!
I grew up camping in Algonquin Provincial Park since I was
3....I have never turned back. Life in the park is laid
back and
relaxing. If you are out on a trail or canoeing on an empty lake you
hear the wind in the trees, the birds
singing, the water moving.
Algonquin has a rich history that you can see all around you with the 100
year old
white pines and the old mills that are still around. While
you are in the park take the chance to learn about the past
of Algonquin
while hiking the Logging Museum trail or at the Visitor Center.
May 30/08
I was driving to the Visitor's Center when I saw two moose
on the side of the road:
A female moose stops at the side of
the road for a drink
I also noticed this:
This is the newest type of tree....The Cell Tower Pine tree
;)
Take the time to enjoy the park this summer
and become a part of a place that has been around for years and will
stay
hopefully for years to come!
~Enjoy your
Trip
